Seamus Daly
Chief ExecutiveSeamus joined the Society in 1989 as an Agricultural Advisor after graduating from U.C.D. with a B. Agr. Science degree. He was appointed Mill Manager in 1996 and became Dairy Manager in 2000. He was appointed Assistant Chief Executive in 2007 and succeeded Joe O’Sullivan as Chief Executive in 2021.
Donal Murphy
Mill / Operations ManagerDonal joined Drinagh Co-op in 1996 as an Agricultural Advisor / Sales Rep after graduating from UCD. In 2001 he was appointed the Feed Mill Manager. In 2021 he was appointed Mill and Operations Manager.
Michael O’Brien
Trading ManagerMichael has been recently appointed as Trading Manager. He previously held the position of Purchasing manager from 2007 to 2018 and Manager of Skibbereen Hardware from 1993 to 2007. Michael is responsible for overseeing the agri business and retail divisions of the co-op.
Gavin Murphy
Financial ControllerGavin joined Drinagh Co-op in 2006 and is responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the finance department, ensuring it is organised and efficient, produces accurate financial and management information, and operates appropriate systems and controls in managing co-op resources.
Denis O’Driscoll
Purchasing ManagerDenis joined the stores division of Drinagh in 1982. He was appointed manager of Skibbereen Hardware in 2007 and Purchasing manager in 2018.
He has responsibility for the efficient purchasing for the hardware division, ensuring that Drinagh has a range of quality products at competitive prices for our customers.
Tim Regan
Dairy & Agri Advisory ManagerTim joined Drinagh in 2012 graduating from UCD with a B.Agr. Science Degree and a Masters in Agriculture. In 2021 Tim was appointed Dairy Manager. Tim is available to assist in all agricultural matters, from milk quality to financial issues.

Richard Murphy
SalesRichard joined Drinagh’s sales team in 2007, having spent the previous ten years working in the stores sector of the co-op. Richard comes from a dairy and beef farm in Kealkil, West Cork, where he still manages the dairy herd. Because of his background he has first hand experience with farming and what is required to sustain a healthy herd.
Richard has developed a large and loyal customer base over the years and is always available to discuss Drinagh’s range of feed, fertilizer, grass seed, veterinary and building materials etc., and offers advice and competitive pricing to new and existing customers.
David Shiels
SalesDavid Shiels joined Drinagh in 2012 following the takeover of GW Biggs & J Lyons & Co, having spent 16 years in their sales and marketing division.
David has built up a large customer base and many friends in the entire West Cork and South Kerry area.
David prides himself on having a good working relationship with all of his customers and a good understanding of their requirements therefore ensuring he can provide a quality service at competitive prices.
